Not only do we use more energy-conserving public transportation, we spend considerably less per capita on energy-intensive material goods.
Yet Blacks are exposed to worse air pollution than Whites in every major metropolitan area. Some charge that the Bush administration has made matters worse...
I don't think my "emissions" have anything to do with my race. And I don't see why race is in ANY way relevant to the environment. Urban relates, race does not. All this inane bullshit makes people just want to shut out the issue entirely. This sort of useless garbage makes it easier (and more likely) for people to ignore things for which race may actually matter; like medical differences
